Cast members from the Brighton Family Panto are heading to Chailey Heritage to show their support for fellow performers.
They will take a break from preparing to put on Peter Pan at the Hilton Metropole hotel in Brighton to visit one of the charities that their production this year is supporting.
The Brighton Family Panto is raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and Chailey Heritage Foundation.
And each year Chailey Heritage, which supports children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities, has a tradition of putting on its own pantomime for friends and families.
This year the Chailey panto will be Aladdin, performed at the charity’s new Dream Centre arts complex which was opened by the Duchess of Cornwall earlier this year.
The Brighton Family Panto visit is due to take place on Friday (13 December) when the Chailey cast are scheduled to hold their final dress rehearsal.
Chailey Heritage director of development Sally-Anne Murray said: “It will be wonderful to welcome members of the Brighton cast to Chailey.
“The joy they will deliver to our young performers will bring the spirit of Christmas to our charity.
“I’d like to thank everyone involved in the Peter Pan production for raising money for Chailey Heritage.”
Chailey Heritage drama teacher Helen Dunman said: “The young people have worked really hard and are looking forward to performing for their friends and families on stage at the Dream Centre.
“Panto is a wonderful seasonal tradition and we are proud to be a part of it at Chailey Heritage.”
The Brighton Family Panto production of Peter Pan is due to open on Thursday 19 December and run every day except Christmas Day until Sunday 29 December.
