A Hove man charged with burglary has been told to wait in prison until he appears at the crown court next month.
Sussex Police said today (Monday 18 November): “Police have arrested and charged a man with committing a burglary at a flat in Goldstone Villas, Hove.
“Linval Thomas, 50, of King’s Mews, Hove, was detained on Friday (15 November) and charged with carrying out the burglary at the flat on (Wednesday) 11 September.
“The woman victim woke up to find a man in her bedroom in the early hours trying to steal her purse from her handbag.
“Thomas appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (18 November) and was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on (Monday) 16 December.”
