A woman armed with a knife threatened a man in a wheelchair before robbing him in Brighton, Sussex Police said today (Monday 26 August).
The force issued an appeal for help tracing the woman who robbed the man in his home on Bank Holiday Monday (26 August).
Sussex Police said: “Police are seeking information about a knifepoint robbery in Brighton.
“A man living in Whitehawk Road, Brighton, agreed to take in a parcel for his neighbour, which a woman was attempting to deliver at around 6pm on Monday.
“The woman entered his flat and threatened the man, who is in a wheelchair, with a knife before demanding he handed over any money.
“She left the premises with around £600 in cash.
“The woman was described as around 30 years old, white, 5ft 5in, of slim build, with dark shoulder-length hair and she was wearing knee-length black dress with a white pattern.
“If you noticed any suspicious behaviour in this area at this time or saw a woman matching this description please report online or call 101 quoting 1101 of 26/08.”
