Police are trying to trace two people who were pictured on security camera footage with stolen bicycles.
The force said: “Sussex Police would like to speak with this man and woman in connection with the theft of pedal bikes in Brighton.
“Police received a report of two high-value bikes being stolen from outside a flat in Dyke Road, Brighton, between 8am and midday on Saturday 22 June.
“One bike was a silver Carrera Valour mountain bike and the second a red Pinnacle Evaporite Two.”
A new Pinnacle Evaporite Two usually retails for at least £1,000.
Sussex Police added: “If anyone recognises this man or woman or has seen bikes matching this description for sale online, please report online or call 101 quoting 506 of 27/06.”
The Pinnacle Evaporite is carbon black NOT RED.
