Two hammer-wielding armed robbers threatened staff and customers at a computer shop in Hove and stole two Apple Macs.
The pair carried out the robbery at Solutions Inc in Old Shoreham Road, Hove, at about 3.30pm on Tuesday (9 August), Sussex Police said this evening.
They ripped the Apple Macs from the display and escaped down the twitten that leads from Old Shoreham Road to Maple Gardens and Acacia Avenue.
Both suspects had their heads and faces covered with hooded tops – one dark blue and the other grey.
They were described as white and about 6ft tall.
Detective Constable Laura Carron, from Brighton CID, said: “This was a very bold act in broad daylight and fortunately no staff or customers were hurt.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has any information as to who is responsible for this robbery or anyone who is offered an Apple Mac computer for sale.”
Witnesses or anyone else with information is urged to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
