A Brighton woman was attacked by a man on her way home from a night out in town.
He pushed the 28-year-old woman to the ground and kicked her near Monarchs Amusements in London Road.
The attack is believed to have followed an argument between 4am and 4.30am last Sunday (31 July).
The man also smashed a glass bottle during the attack although he did not hit the woman with it.
PC Liz Hough, from the Sussex Police Anti-Victimisation Unit based in Brighton, said: “London Road is a popular route for taxis and people leaving the city after a Saturday night out in the pubs and clubs and we are hoping someone will have seen this incident.”
The suspect was described as a blond-haired, large built, 6ft tall white man, aged about 26, wearing a black T-shirt and black trousers.
The victim did not seek medical treatment for her injuries.
