A giant model of the moon is rising over Queen’s Park pond ahead of trio of Brighton Festival events there this weekend.
The 7m wide sphere’s official name is Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram, and features highly detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface, each centimetre of the internally-lit sphere representing 5km of the moon’s surface.
Ghost Caribou from Thingumajig Theatre will also be wandering the park on Saturday afternoon ahead of a free show that night.
And the Storytelling Army will return to the festival, telling tales of food and flavours in a ticketed show on Saturday evening.
