Review
A powerful piece which brings to life the realities facing gay men in 1960s England.
The play is the story of two young men who fall in love only to face the danger that this puts them in at a time when arrest and prison were the consequence of being caught.
The play is full of humour and fascinating detail of contemporary life in the North of England.
But hiding their love is hard and the knock on the door from the police is a dread that they can’t escape.
The two actors totally draw you in to the story and take you on a highly emotional tale that frustrates and shocks, reminding us of a not so distant past and prejudices that still persist.
Catch this show while its run continues on Sunday or Monday.
