A suspected drug dealer is being held in prison to await a crown court trial after being arrested in Brighton.
Ibrahim Adegbite, 22, was remanded in custody by Brighton magistrates charged with having crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply and having cannabis.
Adegbite was arrested in New Steine, in Brighton, on Wednesday (13 March) and brought before the bench yesterday (Thursday 14 March).
He is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday 11 April.
Sussex Police said: “A man who was arrested for suspected drug dealing in New Steine, Brighton, has been charged and appeared in court.
“Ibrahim Adegbite, 22, of Chadwick Road, London, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and possession of cannabis.
“He was arrested on Wednesday (13 March) by prevention officers after being seen acting suspiciously.
“He was searched and approximately 100 wraps of class A drugs were found on him.
“Adegbite appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (14 March) and was remanded into custody to appear at crown court.”
