UPDATE: Eya El Ghoul has returned home.
Sussex Police have asked for the public’s help to find a missing 16-year-old girl from Brighton.
The force said: “Police are concerned about a missing teenager from Brighton.
“Eya El Ghoul has been missing since Tuesday (March 5) when she left home in Preston Street and didn’t return home as expected.
“Eya, 16, moved to the city recently and doesn’t know many people in the area.
“She is slim, of mixed race, 5ft 5in, with shoulder-length black hair.
“She is thought to be in Eastbourne or Polegate area.
“She was wearing white Nike trainers, a white tracksuit bottoms, a pink top and blue jacket.
“Anyone who has seen her is asked to contact police online, quoting serial 941 of 06/03.”
