Two men have been released on police bail having been arrested after two other men died in a car crash just to the north of Brighton.
Sussex Police released the men after questioning them on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
All four men – the two who died and the two who were arrested – were in the same Peugeot car which crashed at Pyecombe in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday 19 June).
No other vehicle was involved when the Peugeot left the road on the approach to Brighton, according to Sussex Police.
Both sides of the A23 were closed for several hours as rescue workers and investigators dealt with the aftermath of the crash.
Police said that all four men were from London.
