Thousands of cyclists rode into town on the London to Brighton Bike Ride today (Sunday 19 June).
The first cyclists set off on their 54-mile charity ride from Clapham Common at about 6am.
The final starters set off by 10.30am by which time the first cyclists had crossed the finish line in Madeira Drive, Brighton.
Most of those taking part completed the distance within six hours.
The wet and windy weather of the past few days lifted for much of the day although many of the cyclists were caught by at least one shower.
The annual event is run by the British Heart Foundation which expects to raise more than £3 million this year from about 27,000 cyclists.
