A Hove convenience store was robbed at knifepoint last night, Sussex Police said this afternoon (Tuesday 16 October).
The force said: “Detectives are searching for a man who carried out a late-evening knifepoint robbery at a convenience shop in Hove.
“At 9.45pm on Monday (15 October) the man entered Tesco Express, in The Droveway, Hove, threatened staff with a knife, took about £2,000 from the tills and ran off.
“Nobody was hurt.
“He is described as white and was wearing dark clothing.”
