A man from Hove has been missing since the weekend.
Sussex Police issued a public appeal for help trying to find him this afternoon (Tuesday 17 July).
The force said: “Police are concerned for the welfare of Anton Newman who has gone missing from Hove.
“The 28-year-old was last seen on Sunday (15 July) at 11.37am in Nevill Avenue.
“He is white, 6ft 1in, slim, with shaved hair, a pale complexion and was last seen wearing a cream jumper, blue jeans and black socks and no shoes. He may now be wearing shoes.
“He has links to Brighton and Hove and the St Anne’s Day Centre in St James’s Street, Brighton.
PC Alisa Funnell said: “We are concerned for Anton’s welfare.
“He maybe sleeping rough or in a tent in woodland in the Brighton area.
“If anyone has seen him or knows where he may be, please let us know.”
Sussex Police added: “If you have any information about Anton which could help us find him, contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 552 of 15/07.”
