The Greens have ousted Labour from two of the three seats in Hollingdean and Stanmer with only Jeane Lepper retaining hers.
Sitting councillor Sven Rufus, who switched from Regency, is joined by newcomer Christina Summers.
Veteran Labour councillor Pat Hawkes annd Christine Simpson were defeated.
