A 20-year-old man was treated in hospital after being attacked in a night club in Brighton.
Sussex Police said that two suspects, both 36 and from Gwent, in Wales, have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting the 20-year-old and causing him actual bodily harm (ABH).
The attack happened in Wahoo, a club in West Street. Brighton, at about 12.30am on Saturday (16 April).
The victim, who is from the Brighton and Hove area, was given help at the Safe Space, in West Street.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a minor head injury and a cut to the cheek.
PC Claire Laughton said: “Police were alerted to the assault by staff at the club, who are continuing to assist police with this investigation.
“CCTV is currently being viewed and the investigation is ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.”
The two suspects have been released on police bail until Monday 16 May pending further inquiries.
