The Rockinghorse children’s charity is holding an Easter egg hunt and giveaway at its shop in George Street, Hove, on Saturday 23 April.
The Brighton-based charity said that children would be able to take part in a search for Easter goodies.
And everyone who brings in a donation for the shop will receive a free chocolate egg donated by the Co-op.
A spokesman said that the free event would take place from 10am to 2pm.
Deputy shop manager Mel Mahoney said: “This is a great opportunity to have some Easter fun while also helping to raise money for sick and disabled children in the local area.
“We’re very grateful to Co-op for donating the eggs.
“Children will be able to come and meet the Easter Bunny and we’ve got lots of tasty eggs to give away in return for donations to the shop so now’s the perfect time for a spring clean.”
Rockinghorse thanked Co-op for donating chocolate eggs for the event and appealed for more donations from local businesses.
