A 13-year-old girl from Hove who went missing last Wednesday (14 February) returned home safe and well this morning (Monday 19 February).
Sussex Police said: “Missing Hove teenager has returned home.
“Morgan Gillett returned home to Hove on Monday morning (19 February) safe and well.”
In a tweet, Brighton and Hove Police said: “Thanks for caring. Morgan Gillett has now returned home safe and well.”
Her return comes just days after Sussex Police made a public appeal for help to find the girl.
On Friday the force said: “Police are concerned for the safety of a missing 13-year-old girl from Hove.
“Thirteen-year-old Morgan Gillett is missing from her home in Hove.
“She was last seen leaving her her home at 4.20pm on Wednesday (14 February).”
She returned home briefly yesterday (Thursday 15 February), police said, but left with a couple of bags.
