A woman was mugged near Brighton Police Station when two thieves snatched her handbag and ran off.
The 46-year-old Brighton woman was robbed outside Richmond Heights in Ashton Rise.
She was walking along the path towards the block of flats between Ashton Rise and John Street when two men came up to her.
One of the men grabbed her by throwing his arms around her from behind while the other man snatched her handbag from her shoulder.
Both men, who were described as being about 5ft 8in tall and dressed in black, ran off towards Grove Hill.
The robbery happened at about 8pm on Sunday evening (13 February).
Detective Constable Caroline Biggs said: “The victim has been left shaken following the robbery.”
