Police have issued a public appeal for help tracing a missing 16-year-old girl who may be in Brighton.
Sussex Police said: “A girl reported to be missing from Maidstone, Kent, may have travelled to the Brighton area.
“Chloe Henderson-Smith, 16, is last known to have been in the Tonbridge Road area of Maidstone at around 7.30am on Friday 29 July.
“Police officers in Kent say she may have travelled to the Brighton or Winchester areas.
“Chloe is described as being white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with green eyes and blonde hair with brown roots.
“She may be wearing a red coat or a purple coat with white stripes on the sleeves, red and navy patterned trousers and white trainers.
“She may also be carrying a bright pink handbag.
“Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101, quoting 04-1586.”
