The deadline for parents to apply for a place at primary schools in Brighton and Hove is less than two weeks away.
Preference forms must be submitted by Friday, February 5.
The council’s cabinet member for children and families, Councillor Vanessa Brown, said: “Submitting your form late could stop you getting a place at one of your favoured schools.
“If you have not already sent your form in then your best bet now is to apply online here.
“If you do not have access to the internet please call our admissions hotline as soon as possible on 01273 293653.”
Goldstone and Westdene primary schools were recently given the go-ahead to take an extra class of 30 pupils this September, boosting the intake from 60 to 90.

Parents should bear in mind that both Goldstone and Westdene primary schools were recently given the go-ahead to take an extra class of 30 pupils in this year’s intake.
This means that for entry into reception class in September, the admissions number for both schools will now be 90.
