A woman had to be kept in hospital for treatment after being knocked unconscious by a cyclist in Hove, Sussex Police said yesterday (Friday 9 June).
The force said: “Police investigating a collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian at the junction of Third Avenue and the B2066 Church Road, Hove, last month are seeking witnesses and asking them to come forward with any information they may have.
“The incident occurred at 7.45am on Friday 5 May and involved a 47-year-old local woman who was knocked unconscious.
“She sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where she was detained for treatment.
“The cyclist, a 39-year-old man from Hove, was unhurt.
