A two car crash on the south coast road caused huge tailbacks during yesterday’s afternoon rush hour.
The occupants of the cars, which crashed shortly after 4pm, escaped with nothing more than minor injuries.
Emergency services stayed at the scene to clear the road for almost an hour.
A police spokesperson said: “Two cars collided in South Coast Road, Saltdean, at the junction with Longridge Avenue, at 4.10pm.
“Some minor injuries were reported.”
