Almost 300 Brighton homes were left without electricity to make their morning cup of tea this morning after a cable fault in Hanover.
Homes in Albion Hill, Grove Street and Jersey Street were affected by the fault, which knocked out power shortly after 8.30am.
A speedy fix meant everything was back on by 9am.
A spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said: “Engineers have restored electricity supplies to 285 customers in the Grove Street area of Brighton after a underground cable fault interrupted power supplies at 8.35am today.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience this caused and our engineers worked as quickly as possible to reconnect all power supplies by 9am.
