Sussex Police said that officers were becoming increasingly concerned for a missing man from Hove.
The force said this afternoon (Thursday 22 December): “David Chapman, 69, was last seen at his home in Sackville Road at 6.45am on Wednesday 21 December.
“David is white, 6ft, with thin receding grey hair. He has stubble and wears glasses.
“He was last seen wearing a tan corduroy jacket, dark blue jeans, blue shirt with light dots and tan canvas shoes.”
Inspector Dave Robinson said: “We are very anxious to check David’s welfare and his health. He has left personal belongings in his property but we believe he may still be in the Hove area.
“If you see him or know his location please contact us on 101 quoting incident 291 21/12.”
