A Brighton man has been arrested after a series of sex attacks in the town, Sussex Police said this afternoon (Thursday 8 September).
His arrest comes after an “efit” was published on Tuesday (6 September) with details of an assault almost two weeks earlier. The victims were two 16-year-old girls.
The force said today: “A 22-year-old man from Brighton has been arrested on suspicion of five counts of sexual assault through touching following a number of recent reports in the city.
“He has been released on bail until (Wednesday) 19 October pending further inquiries.”
Detectives want to hear from anyone who might have seen any of the reported assaults.
