Smash EDO campaigners are planning another protest outside the EDO MBM Technology factory in Brighton this afternoon.
Activists are promising to hold a “noise demo” outside the premises in Home Farm Road, Moulsecoomb, from 4pm to 6pm today.
The Smash EDO website says: “EDO should be under no illusion that we will be here until they’re not.”
The protesters object to weapons parts being made by EDO, which is owned by the American company ITT.
They have held several demonstrations outside the factory with the most recent being on Tuesday 14 December when they blockaded the entrance.
They have complained about heavy-handed policing at previous protests.
Sussex Police has said that it has to plan for the worst because – unlike most other protest groups – the organisers refuse to liaise with officers.
This has added to the cost of policing the demonstrations.
Sussex Police Authority member and Brighton and Hove City Council member Councillor Ben Duncan has called on the force to adopt a more co-operative approach.
