Brighton-educated actress Honeysuckle Weeks has been found safe and well, her sister said tonight (Friday 29 July).
Weeks, 36, who went to Roedean School and played Sam in the television series Foyle’s War, vanished yesterday evening and was reported missing last night, Sussex Police said earlier today.
Uncharacteristically she had not been in touch with her family, police said, and was said to have been anxious recently.
Detective Sergeant Kate Witt said earlier: “We are concerned about Honeysuckle as her recent behaviour has concerned family and friends and she has expressed to them she is feeling anxious.
“Although she travels around a lot and has links in London and has family in Wiltshire, it is unlike her not to be in touch with family.
“If you read this, Honeysuckle, please get in touch to let us know you are ok.”
Safe and sound thank you all xxxx ?

Thousands of people took to social media, including Facebook and Twitter, with many messages of support and thanks for the pleasure she has given in her acting roles.
And by late evening her family reported that she had been located and was safe, including in a tweet, above, from her sister Perdita.
Sussex Police: “The 36-year-old, from Petworth, was reported missing about 10pm on Thursday (28 July), having last been seen in Graylingwell Drive, Chichester, an hour previously.
“Police issued a missing persons appeal after her recent behaviour – and her disappearance – concerned her family and friends.
“Honeysuckle was found safe and well at a relative’s address in London at about 7.45pm on Friday (29 July). Her relative contacted police to notify them of her appearance.
“She remained with police as of 10.45pm on Friday (29 July), prior to being returned to West Sussex.
“We’re very grateful to everyone who expressed their concern for Honeysuckle and assisted in our appeal to help find her.”
