Two women and two children who burgled a home in North Place, Brighton, are being hunted by police.
The group stole cash and a digital camera from a woman in her fifties who invited them into her home from about 8pm to midnight on Tuesday (12 January).
Police are looking for any witnesses who may have seen the group.
Both women are white, slim and spoke with Irish accents.
The first is aged in her early thirties, about 5ft 6in tall, with short dark hair. She was wearing jeans, a jacket and a dark-coloured beanie and was pushing a supermarket shopping trolley with items inside.
The second woman was aged in her late thirties to early forties, about 5ft 8in tall, with blonde crinkly hair. She was wearing jeans, boots and a jacket.
They had two children with them. The first is a white girl aged about nine years old, described as plump with blonde hair that was tied back. She was wearing jeans and a jacket.
The other is described as an 11-year-old boy, also plump build, with short dark hair.
They had a dog with them which was white and medium sized with coloured patches on its fur.
