Black clouds of acrid smoke billowed over parts of Brighton last night after a motorbike was set on fire.
Police are now investigating after the bike, which was parked in St John’s Place on the Tarner estate, was set alight.
Firefighters were called at about 6.40pm and a crew used one hose reel jet to quench the flames.
