A man suffered a broken jaw when he was attacked in a Brighton night club.
Sussex Police said: “Police are investigating an attack on a man in a Brighton night club which has left him with a broken jaw.
“The 20-year-old Goring-by-Sea man was in Volks Club in Madeira Drive, Brighton, in the early hours of Sunday 31 January when some time between 3.15am and 4.15am he was punched in the face and fell to the floor.
“He later made his own way to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester where he was treated for a broken jaw which has required the insertion of a metal plate.
“He did not see his attacker and police are appealing for witnesses.”
Detective Constable Sarah Townsend said: “If you were in or around Volks Club early that morning and saw what happened or have any other information, please contact us.”
