Albion have made former Fulham and Hull City defender Liam Rosenior their first significant summer signing .
The thirty year old has signed a three year contract .
Albion boss Chris Hughton told the club website “” We are delighted to have brought Liam in as our first summer signing . He’s a terrific professional , has a wealth a experience – which is something that important to us – and during our negotiations showed a great desire to join us and be part of this club, despite some attractive options elsewhere”
Rosenior began his career at Bristol City and is the son of TV pundit Leroy Rosenior , whom himself almost joined the Seagulls as manager back in 2003.
Although a great full back, Rosenior’s arrival will fuel speculation regarding the future of Brighton born centre- back Lewis Dunk . With Newcastle United being one of the leading contenders to sign the Albion youngster .
