The Conservatives held all three seats in Rottingdean Coastal, with one of them, Joe Miller, becoming the youngest ever member of Brighton and Hove City Council at 20 years old.
Joe Miller paid tribute to his predecessor David Smith who retired at the election after 38 years as a councillor.
