Students and lecturers are to march through the centre of Brighton to protest about proposed tuition fee rises and higher education spending cuts.
Members of the National Union of Students (NUS) and the University and College Union (UCU) are expected to take part in the protest planned for next Wednesday (24 November).
It follows the demo held in London last week (Wednesday 10 November) when 52,000 took to the streets of Westminster.
Next Wednesday the NUS and UCU will be among those gathering in Dyke Road Park, off Dyke Road, Hove, near Brighton, Hove and Sussex VI Form College (BHASVIC).
They plan to set off at 2pm on a march to Churchill Square and Victoria Gardens in Brighton.
They are expecting to be supported by the Brighton Stop the Cuts Coalition in what is being described as a national day of action called by student groups.
The organisers have set up a Facebook page which can be found by clicking here.
