Thirteen people accused of taking part in a violent brawl in Brighton after the March for England demonstration last April have been ordered to appear before a crown court judge.
Just three of the defendants gave Brighton addresses while six were from Yorkshire and Humberside.
Two of the defendants pleaded not guilty to violent disorder when they appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday 8 January).
The rest face the same charge but have not yet entered a plea, Sussex Police said.
All 13 defendants were remanded to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday 5 February.
