A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a flat in Brighton.
The victim, a 24-year-old man from Rustington, had been stabbed to death. He died at the scene.
His body was found in a flat in Warwick Mount, Montague Street, Kemp Town, at 1am on Christmas Day.
Sussex Police said that the suspect was brought before Brighton magistrates today (Friday 26 December).
The force said: “The court granted a warrant for his extended detention while detectives continue to question him.
“A post-mortem examination of the body was due to be held on Friday 26 December to establish the cause of death.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”
