Hove boxer Chris Eubank Jr has lost his challenge for three middleweight titles to the Caravan Kid Billy Joe Saunders at the Excel in London.
The pair went the distance over 12 three-minute rounds.
Saunders kept his titles thanks to a split decision although the judges awarded the two 25-year-olds the same number of points.
Former Brighton College pupil Eubank was challenging Welwyn-born Saunders for his British, European and Commonwealth middleweight titles.
The fight also served as an eliminator for the WBO world middleweight championship.
Saunders, who became the first Romany Gypsy to box for Britain at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, is now unbeaten in 21 professional bouts.
For Eubank it was his first professional defeat in 19 contests over three years. The last time he was beaten was an amateur in America six years ago.
Eubanks is a waster. Of course he lost.
He has finally fought somebody who hits back and now look at his ‘unbeaten’ record in tatters the second he fights somebody credible LOL. so funny
