An unemployed 38-year-old Brighton man has been accused of carrying out two burglaries in the centre of the town.
Joseph Grimshaw, of Powis Grove, Brighton, has been charged with stealing laptops from two businesses, Sussex Police said.
The first break-in is alleged to have taken place at the Three Jolly Butchers pub in North Road, Brighton, on Sunday 19 October.
The second burglary was alleged to have been committed at Kambis restaurant in Western Road on Friday 24 October.
Grimshaw appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 4 November where he was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday 20 November.
