Firefighters put out a blaze at a house in Brighton yesterday (Tuesday 11 November).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that crews “were mobilised to a house fire in Brighton yesterday following reports of people inside the building”.
The fire service said: “Four crews were sent at 5.13pm, along with the Incident Command Unit from Lewes, and all persons were accounted for at the property in Ditchling Road.
“The stop message for the accidental fire came in at 6.07pm and crews spent time damping down and checking for any hotspots, as well as contacting UK Power to isolate the electricity supply.”
