Ipswich Town 2 Brighton & Hove Albion 0
Albion lost their second away game in a row as they went down by two goals to nil at Portman Road.
Despite good chances for Jake Forster-Caskey, Kazenga LuaLua and Lewis Dunk, Albion failed to find the net.
The Seagulls were undone with 10 minutes to go when Jonathan Parr blasted the ball home from close range.
Albion searched for an equaliser after this with LuaLua twice going close.
But with two minutes left Daryl Murphy beat Albion keeper David Stockdale from a tight angle to wrap the game up at 2-0.
Albion now take on winless Blackpool at the Amex this coming Saturday (20 September) in a game that Sami Hyypia will be desperate to win.
