A man from Portslade has been arrested after another driver was forced off the road on the A23 at the weekend.
The 38-year-old man was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision.
He is suspected of driving off after causing a woman from Horsham, also aged 38, to crash at Albourne just north of Brighton shortly after 1pm on Saturday.
Her silver Renault Clio left the road and overturned.
A silver Mini is believed to have driven away from the scene of the crash, northbound on the A23.
The woman was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and treated for minor injuries.
The Portslade man has been bailed until Thursday 9 December.
Sussex Police asked for witnesses to contact 0845 6070999.
