Brighton Science Festival has a range of family-focused events lined up for the school holiday week.
Half term activities start this weekend with Bright Sparks in Hove Park Upper School tomorrow (Saturday 15 February) and Sunday (16 February).
Bright Sparks are family fun days for children aged between 7 and 14 and their parents to enjoy science together.
Around 1,000 people are expected to take part in the hands-on activities, which include sherbet making, creepy crawly handling and Raspberry Pi programming.
Other activities during the week include Regency paper silhouette making, toy hacking, LEGO robotics and war games.
On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February science combines with street theatre in the form of Physics Busking outside Churchill Square.
