There are hundreds of great places to eat in Brighton and Hove, and the quest to find the best has started.
Voting has started in the Brighton and Hove Foodie awards 2010, with the winning restaurant, café, pub and food shop announced at the end of the annual food festival in October.

Madhur Jaffrey and Anthony Bourdain will hold events as part of the city’s celebration of local produce and international flavours throughout September.
For the first time, an International Food Weekend will feature mini events and markets running over the weekend of Saturday, September 4 and Sunday, September 5, across the city centre, including a French wine festival, Indian street festival, Spanish fiesta market, Japanese festival, with more foodie countries to follow.
Local food will be celebrated at the Big Sussex Market on September 11-12, in the North Laine.
During the weekend there will be celebrity chef demos and tastings at the Live Food Show in Pavilion Gardens and Discovery Food will be celebrating the 200th Mexican Independence Day in Jubilee Square.
Fiery Foods UK Chilli Festival takes place on the weekend of September 18, and September 19.
On Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26, the Sussex and the World Market will be held on Hove Lawns.
