The Seagulls have been drawn away to Burton Albion in the League Cup 3rd round.
It will be the first competitive meeting between the two teams.
Burton’s best-known link to Brighton and Hove Albion is that they sold Peter Ward to the club for £5,000 in 1975. In those days Burton were a non-league side and Brighton played in Hove at the Goldstone Ground.
Many Seagulls fans will see the tie as a great chance to progress to the 4th round for the first time in 35 seasons.
Brighton took their place in the draw after a 4-2 win at Swindon although it too extra time to secure the victory.
It will be nice now with the size of the squad up to a couple of weeks ago wil be strong , well done Sammy Herpia and Brighton
