Firefighters from Brighton were called out to deal with a dangerous structure – and found themselves making stonework safe four floors up.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that the call-out to a property in the Seven Dials area came just after 8.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 August).
The fire service said: “Crews from Preston Circus attended an address in Vernon Terrace.
“Stonework on the fourth floor of the building was loose and coming adrift.
“The aerial ladder platform was used to make the building safe.”
