Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Cheltenham Town 0
There’s no gold yet for Albion against Cheltenham in the cup.
The Albion, although slowly making headway, are goalless at the Amex against League 2 Cheltenham.
A diving header from Chris O’Grady, which Cheltenham keeper Trevor Carson saved, and a 25-yard pot shot from Adam Chicksen are the best that Albion have offered so far.
Cheltenham seem a touch cautious but may well be identifying an Albion weakness. Former Seagulls loanee Matt Richards, in the Town defence, looks a lot less hirsute and a lot more solid than five or six years ago.
A sparse crowd of about 7,500 have had little to get excited about.
