A man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for his part in a Brighton shop burglary.
Daniel Isaacs, 31, of Marine Parade, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to burgling Profile, a clothes shop in Duke’s Lane, Brighton, at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (1 August).
Designer clothes and other items worth about £40,000 were stolen in the early morning smash and grab at the shop on Monday 12 May this year. Sussex Police traced a car linked to the burglary and Isaacs was arrested in Nottingham.
Detective constable Richard Valder-Davis said: “We have been able to recover around half of the items stolen and hold Isaacs accountable for his part in the burglary for which he was sentenced to 18 months.
“We know Isaacs worked with other people and we are urging anyone who has information to contact us.
