Brighton and Hove Albion topped the table for attendance in the Football League in the 2013-14 season with an average crowd of 27,110 at the American Express Community Stadium.
Albion also had the highest number of total admissions and season ticket sales last season.
The club recorded a total of 623,522 admissions during the campaign while 23,175 supporters had season tickets for Falmer.
The club’s chief executive Paul Barber said that he was delighted with the figures and praised the loyalty of fans.
He said: “The support here is incredible and we are expecting that the Amex will once again be the place to watch football next season as Sami Hyypia prepares his team for the challenge of the Championship.
“It promises to be another exciting season, with one of the most mouth-watering fixture lists for some years, with Norwich City, Fulham and Cardiff City coming down and old adversaries Wolves and Brentford on the rise.”
