Sussex Police issued an appeal for witnesses this morning (Tuesday 10 June) to a two-car crash in Warren Road, Woodingdean.
The force said that the crash happened at 5.53am yesterday (Monday 9 June) and left a 29-year-old Brighton man suffered serious leg injuries.
He was driving a Vauxhall Tigra which was in collision with a Toyota Avensis driven by 47-year-old Brighton woman, who suffered slight injuries. Both casualties were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Warren Road was closed between the corner of Downland Road and Channel View Road until 9am while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
