Two men have been arrested after a fight in the street in the centre of Brighton.
Sussex Police said: “At about 4am on Sunday 18 May three men were walking north in North Street, Brighton, when they came across a fourth man who was known to one of the group.
“A fight broke out during which a knife and bottle were used.
“All the men dispersed from the scene but two, aged 35 and 20, believed to be involved, were arrested near by on suspicion of affray.
“The 20-year old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
“The 35-year old sustained facial cuts for which he received hospital treatment.”
The two men were interviewed by police and released until Tuesday 15 July and Wednesday 16 July.
Detective Constable Aaron Halsey said: “The investigation continues and anyone who saw what happened or has any useful information is asked to contact us.”
